Allow users to hide large block of code by default

I often come across questions that have little blurbs followed by massive blocks of code, and having those blocks out of sight by default would make answers a lot easier to scan through. IRC does this by using various pastebins; however, it's more critical to take the code out-of-band on IRC because it's so synchronous. A jQuery-hide-this-really-large-code-block-by-default directive could go a long way.

Actually, now that I think about it the original may have been declined, so maybe this is the proper place.

        Here here!

It'd be real simple to fix by just changing the style applied to code divs, as well.
But I have no votes to give at the moment, and this is a duplicate (no link handy). If you want to see it happen then search for the original and add your support to it.
